It’s a short podcast this month. I’m not really sure why but for some reason it seemed to feel right with just these four tracks. Adding another purely to make it longer didn’t seem like the right thing to do so I left it short but sweet. I hope you enjoy it.

I’m currently working on a new project. I’m not going to reveal anything yet but it’s music related and it’s something I’ve wanted to do for years. I know I’m not giving much away but I felt the need to write something because I’m really excited about it.

I changed the site to make it easier to keep up to date and I’m already slipping! I totally forgot to pst a message here when I put the latest Ambient Falls podcast online. Not a great start. Anyway, here are the details.

September 01 2009 – Show 21

Welcome to the twenty first Ambient Falls podcast.

I hope you all had a good summer. The weather here in the UK seems to have switched to winter mode already. As you probably noticed, the podcast took a break last month to recharge in the sun but now it’s back and ready to brighten your day. Some excellent tracks for you this month. My personal favourite is Kalimayantra by Hands Upon Black Earth.

After 2 or 3 years of the old website I decided last night it was time for a change. I’ve been thinking about it for a while now but suddenly decided to go ahead with it. I wanted it to be easier to update too so I would update it more often without having to mess around with HTML coding so I went for a WordPress installation using the Cutline theme. Now I can quickly make blog posts or news updates without all the messing around I used to have to do so expect more of them. This site will probably change slightly over the next week or two because there are some extra features I want to add which I didn’t have time for last night. Anyway, a fresh new look and hopefully a fresh start with a number of things.

I’ve finished another new track, it’s called “World Falls Down”.
It’s the first track I’ve recorded with vocals for a long time and as usual it can be found on the music page of this site

After 19 months of no new music I’ve finally finished a new track.
It’s called What You Hear and can be found on the music page.

With the imminent return of the Ambient Falls podcast I decided to improve the website. The single page it used to occupy on my personal site has been replaced by it’s own fully functioning site, complete with it’s own domain name.
The site can now be reached by typing www.ambientfalls.com into your address bar.
If you still see the old site you might need to click refresh a few times.
I’m still working on the website so you might see some changes over the coming weeks. Don’t forget to bookmark the site and pass a link on to your family and friends.

The fifth Ambient Falls podcast is now online.
I want to thank everybody who has helped to promote the show.
The number of listeners increased significantly last month so you are doing a wonderful job, keep up the great work.
The show is still small so I am constantly looking for new ways to promote it.
